A little bit about me...
Hello! I'm Emma, an artist and illustrator from the UK.
I've always been drawn to people and the things we experience: our relationships, emotions, surroundings, and the small, intimate details of everyday life.
I'm interested in images that hold a feeling or suggest a story, through gesture, relationships, atmosphere, colour, emotion, and light.
The things I notice...
I'm always collecting things that catch my eye: the way the light shines or reflects on a surface, an unexpected colour combination, people caught in a moment, or something that makes me feel a strong emotion when looking at it.
I photograph these moments without knowing whether they'll become anything. Some find their way into my work through colour, atmosphere or composition; others simply become part of my visual collection.
